Event Attendant (Part-time)

Job Summary:

Under general direction. the incumbent of this position provides various guest services during City-sponsored events. while promoting safety and enjoyment of guests/attendees. This position has a varying work-schedule that includes evenin5. week-ends, holidays and extended hours, as business needs neo&sitate. The incumbent provides guests with a positive and lasting experience of the Town Center for the purpose of repeat business.

Major Duties;

Facilitates set-up and break-down of equipment needed for event(s).

Lifts and moves tables & chairs. Maintains cleanliness of work areas and high standards Of safety.

Cleans restrooms, picks up trash, sometimes working in inclement weather.

Works with Center Staff to transport all items needed for scheduled outdoor events

Communicates with the lead staff regarding any special needs.

Assists in ensuring events are on time and adjusts, as needed.

Provides information regarding event(s).

Greets. directs, and answers general questions.

Makes conscientious effort to resolve any problems and complaints of patrons.

Monitors entrances, exits, aisles, tunnels, and seating areas of facility.

Assists with crowd control

Directs patrons to appropriate seating locations

Performs other work-related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Three (3) years' experience in customer service, special event arrangements, and concert staging, preferred.
