Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Event Cleaner to join our team at the Mill Top Banquet & Conference Center in downtown. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and overall ambiance of our historic venue, ensuring every event runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impression.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of event spaces, including floors, tables, and restrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, and entryways.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces as needed.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold the venue’s high standards of cleanliness.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products for different surfaces.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial, or custodial roles.
• Knowledge of floor care and industrial cleaning techniques.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance is a plus.
