Event Coordinator & Private Events Sales Representative

About Us

The Alchemist Cocktail Lounge is an upscale cocktail lounge in Staten Island offering a unique atmosphere for private parties, birthdays, engagement celebrations, corporate events, and special occasions. We are looking for a motivated, outgoing, and organized Event Coordinator to help grow our private events business and bring new clients through our doors.

The Opportunity

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys networking, building relationships, and earning based on their results. You will be responsible for generating event inquiries, securing private party bookings, and helping clients plan memorable events at our venue.

The position is commission-based, making it a great fit for a self-motivated individual who is comfortable with sales and wants their earning potential to reflect their performance.

Responsibilities

• Generate new private event leads through networking, social media, referrals, and community outreach.
• Respond to inquiries from prospective clients and follow up to convert leads into confirmed bookings.
• Promote our private event packages, including birthdays, engagement parties, corporate gatherings, and other celebrations.
• Communicate with clients regarding event packages, pricing, menus, and booking requirements.
• Coordinate event details with management and ensure a smooth planning process.
• Build relationships with local businesses, professionals, and potential referral partners.
• Maintain organized records of leads, inquiries, follow-ups, and confirmed bookings.
• Represent The Alchemist Cocktail Lounge professionally and help grow our reputation as a destination for private events.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and sales skills.
• Outgoing personality with the ability to build relationships and close bookings.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Experience in event planning, hospitality, sales, catering, or venue bookings is a plus.
• Existing connections within the Staten Island community are a bonus.
• Comfortable using social media and networking to generate business.

Compensation

This is a commission-based position, with earnings tied to confirmed private event bookings. The more business you bring in, the more you can earn.

Commission structure and payment terms will be discussed during the interview.
