What they need
- Greet and assist guests professionally, handling enquiries for events, conferences, social functions, and room accommodations.
- Coordinate client meetings, site visits, event requirements, quotations, and Event Orders.
- Communicate with clients, suppliers, decorators, event planners, Banquet, Kitchen, and other departments to ensure smooth event execution.
- Monitor event setup and preparation, including function room arrangements, signage, food presentation, and overall event readiness.
- Handle calls, emails, client information, event documents, and departmental records with confidentiality and accuracy.
- Manage event deposits, prepayments, official receipts, and supporting documents in coordination with Finance/Accounts.
- Assist with cashier duties when required and ensure proper handling of company cash and property.
- Capture event photographs and gather client feedback for service improvement and future promotional use.
- Create promotional content, flyers, and social media materials using Canva or other design tools.
- Monitor competitors, market trends, and relevant industry developments to support promotional activities.
- Assist in developing and implementing hotel promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Perform other duties and ad-hoc assignments as directed by management.
