Event Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee event logistics from planning through execution, ensuring smooth on-site delivery
• Manage setup, service timelines, and pack-down for catering events, including beverage/cocktail service
• Liaise with clients to confirm event requirements, run sheets, and timings
• Collaborate closely with the Operations team to coordinate staffing, equipment, and stock for each event
• Supervise on-site staff during events, ensuring service standards are met
• Troubleshoot issues on the day and adapt plans as needed
• Ensure compliance with responsible service of alcohol (RSA) and food safety standards where applicable
• Assist as a delivery driver to complete rostered hours and support the Operations team as needed

Requirements

• Full driver's licence required (essential — transport of equipment/stock between venues)
• Proven experience coordinating catering events, including drinks/cocktail service
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced event environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• A collaborative mindset — comfortable working closely with Operations and other internal teams
• RSA certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus

Pay: $38.00 – $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 42.0 per week
