  • Plus either:

  • Fridays: 4 PM–close

Additional hours may occasionally be available based on events and business needs.

Responsibilities

Events & Parties

  • Coordinate birthday parties and respond to event inquiries
  • Communicate with customers about party packages, timing, setup, and event details
  • Plan décor, supplies, setup, and event flow
  • Order party and event supplies

  • Help set up, decorate, run, and break down events
  • Work scheduled events and help ensure guests have a great experience

Partnerships & Business Development

  • Reach out to local businesses, rescues, vendors, and community organizations for collaborations
  • Develop new partnerships that can bring customers and events into Pure Pawsh
  • Help source food vendors and other partners for the patio
  • Build relationships with local vets, apartment communities, dog businesses, pet professionals, and neighborhood organizations
  • Distribute coupons, flyers, and promotional materials at dog parks, vets, apartment buildings, and other local businesses
  • Look for new opportunities to drive traffic, events, partnerships, and revenue

Marketing & Outreach

  • Help create and send weekly event emails
  • Assist with customer text campaigns to promote events, grooming, specials, and other offerings
  • Create simple flyers and event promotional materials
  • Capture photos and videos during events
  • Assist with social media posting and event promotion
  • Help keep customers informed about what is happening at Pure Pawsh each week

Bartending, Retail & Customer Service
When scheduled in-store, this role also supports normal front-of-house operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Bartending and pouring beer, cider, seltzers, dog beer, and other beverages
  • Serving bar customers and maintaining a welcoming environment
  • Assisting retail customers with products and purchases
  • Ringing up sales and event transactions
  • Answering phones and assisting with customer questions
  • Helping guests with basic information about grooming, events, products, and services
  • Keeping the bar and retail areas clean and organized
  • Helping with opening, closing, stocking, and general store tasks as needed
  • Jumping in wherever needed to keep the store and events running smoothly

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking to customers
  • Highly organized and dependable
  • Creative and excited about planning events
  • Comfortable reaching out to new businesses and potential partners
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects and priorities
  • Comfortable bartending and working directly with customers
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Comfortable around dogs of all breeds and sizes
  • Excited about community building, local businesses, rescue organizations, and creating memorable experiences

Experience in events, hospitality, bartending, retail, marketing, business development, or community outreach is a plus, but we’re most interested in finding someone with the right energy, organization, reliability, and initiative.

Position includes tips and opportunities for commission too.
