Position: Part-time to start, with room to grow into full-time

Schedule: Weekend availability required

Compensation: Hourly pay based on experience, with opportunities to earn additional income bartending events you schedule.

Position Overview

Kinsmen Brewing is looking for an organized, personable, and proactive Events Coordinator to help manage event inquiries, book reservations, and coordinate the setup and execution of events at our brewery.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, creating memorable experiences, and helping bring events to life. The position will begin part-time, with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and grow into a full-time role.

Bartending experience is preferred, as there are opportunities to earn additional income bartending events you schedule.

Initial Responsibilities

· Manage Event Inquiries: Respond to incoming event leads through the Kinsmen Brewing website and OpenTable, communicate with prospective clients, and follow up on inquiries.

· Meet with Clients: Conduct in-person meetings and venue tours to discuss event details and help clients plan their gatherings.

· Coordinate Event Setup: Handle the setup of events you schedule, ensuring the space is prepared and ready for guests.

· Manage Reservations: Prepare day-of timelines, organize reservation details, and assign tables for groups and parties.

· Assist with Floorplans: Help arrange tables, seating, and room layouts to accommodate each event's needs.

· Support Event Execution: Help ensure events run smoothly by communicating with staff, addressing client needs, and resolving issues as they arise.

Opportunities for Growth

As the role develops, there will be opportunities to take on additional event planning and business development responsibilities, including:

· Assisting with wedding planning and coordination.

· Helping prepare and manage event contracts.

· Researching and sourcing bands, live music, and other entertainment.

· Growing the events calendar by reaching out to past clients and developing new event opportunities.

Qualifications

· Strong communication and customer service skills.

· Organized, dependable, and detail oriented.

· Comfortable communicating with clients and managing event details.

· Able to work independently and take initiative.

· Willingness to help with event setup and hands-on execution.

· Bartending experience preferred.

· Weekend availability required.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
