Event Coordinator - Part-Time

We are looking for a Part-Time event coordinator. This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about event planning, hospitality, and creating memorable moments. We have hosted over 60 events this year and are still growing. Our events coordinator will primarily execute day-of coordination for events where client has chosen that service, primarily wedding receptins and occasionally outdoor weddings in our venue.

This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in customer service and project management while working in a lively, fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Help with event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements are in place and functioning properly.
• Be attentive to the event client, help the event run smoothly, move along efficiently, and deal with an issues that arise.
• Work efficiently as a member of the team, all tasks assigned.

Skills

• Excellent organizational skills .
• Customer service expertise to ensure positive interactions with clients and guests throughout the event process.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is a plus; fundraising or guest services experience is also beneficial.

This position is on an as-needed basis, primarily weekends only so it is great for a retired person, high school student who wants to learn, or weekend work. Training will be provided. We work our schedule a month ahead of time. Hourly pay is based on experience and includes gratuity.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.0 – 10.0 per week
