Fire & Flank are heading to Food&Fuel at Bicester Motion on Saturday 10th October, and we’re looking for someone to join our team for the day.

Food&Fuel brings together some seriously impressive cars, brilliant street food and a great atmosphere at the iconic Bicester Motion site.

About Fire & Flank

We’re a Cardiff-based street food brand specialising in fire-cooked steak, cheesy garlic mash and big, bold flavours, combining proper restaurant techniques with the theatre and atmosphere of street food.

We’ve built a reputation for putting on a great food experience at events across the UK, from major music festivals and food festivals to some of the country’s biggest street food competitions.

We’ve won Best Main Dish at the British Street Food Awards twice, and more recently took home Best Vegetarian at the European Street Food Awards in Germany, as well as finishing second in the People’s Choice.

We work at everything from food festivals and automotive events to large-scale music festivals, so there is potential for plenty more work with us for the right person.

The job

You’ll be working alongside our team at the Fire & Flank food stall, helping us keep things running smoothly throughout the event.

The work is straightforward and we’ll show you everything you need to know. Your main duties will include:

• Working the fryer
• Scooping and serving our cheesy garlic mash
• Helping with food preparation
• Keeping the stall clean and organised
• Helping the team keep service running smoothly
• General event and kitchen duties

No complicated cooking experience is required — we’ll show you what to do.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, friendly, switched-on and happy working as part of a small team. Hospitality, catering or event experience is useful, but attitude is more important than experience.
