We’re looking for reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented individuals to join our Event Crew Team Member role. This role is perfect for someone looking for part-time, flexible hours and enjoys being hands-on with creative event work. Weekly hours vary depending on event volume and typically range from 5 to 15 hours per week mostly during Friday-Sunday.

Position Overview:
This role involves assisting with event setup and breakdown, and loading/unloading of event materials. Ideal candidates are organized, dependable, and take pride in supporting behind-the-scenes operations that help bring unforgettable proposals to life.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in loading and unloading event decor and equipment (up to 30 lbs)
• Help with the setup of event layouts on location (e.g., florals, candles, arches, signage, etc.)
• Aid in breakdown and clean-up of event sites after proposals conclude
• Ensure all decor items are handled with care and accounted for
• Follow precise setup instructions with a strong eye for detail
• Arrive on time and professionally represent the Proposed In SoCal brand
• Maintain organization of event supplies before and after events

Requirements:

• Must be local to or able to commute to San Diego, CA and surrounding areas such as Orange County, CA. Team Member will travel to event sites within the mentioned areas to set up events.
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
• Organized and dependable with a professional demeanor
• Weekend and evening availability required (events vary week to week)
• Reliable transportation to/from event locations

Compensation:
$23/hour

This is a W2 position with variable weekly hours (5–15 hrs/week depending on event schedule).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 per hour
