Leading Destination Management Company Seeks Event Development Manager

Event Planning Company seeks a creative, organized hospitality professional who is a proactive self-starter and works well in a fast paced team setting. Attention to detail, organization, creativity, strict deadlines and the ability to focus in a busy environment. Based in Palm Beach County, we are an established supplier delivering creative and innovative programs for corporate meetings and incentive travel groups.

Daily Responsibilities Includes

• Generate creative content for proposals for client events
• Completing proposals within time parameters
• Generate innovative ways to improve products, services, pricing and experiences
• Creating contracts and deposit invoices
• Supporting sales team with client requests and administrative work
• Planning off property events, on property themed events, and daytime activities for corporate groups
• Coordinating pricing with vendors & venues and obtaining contracts in a timely manner
• Working with Excel cost sheets and Word documents
• Maintaining & updating computer files, pricing, and formatting tariff

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Great attitude
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
• Attention to detail, well-organized and the ability to work independently in a busy and sometimes high stress environment
• Pro active-self starter
• Strong Microsoft word, Excel and Canva knowledge
• Experience in the event planning industry preferred
