What they need
Tee Time Bar is looking for an outgoing, organized, and customer-focused Event Manager to join our team. This role combines event sales and coordination with day-to-day guest service, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, building relationships, and creating memorable experiences.
The Event Manager will be responsible for handling event inquiries, booking and coordinating private events, and supporting guests during regular business hours. You will serve as one of the main points of contact for customers—from their first inquiry or walk-in visit through the successful completion of their event.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests during regular business hours, answer questions about the venue, and provide excellent customer service.
- Respond to event inquiries by phone, email, online platforms, and in person.
- Conduct venue tours and consultations with prospective event clients.
- Understand each client's event needs, guest count, budget, and preferences and recommend appropriate packages and options.
- Prepare event proposals, pricing, packages, and booking details and follow up with prospective clients to convert inquiries into confirmed events.
- Coordinate private parties, corporate events, birthday celebrations, social gatherings, and other venue events from booking through completion.
- Create and maintain event timelines, floor plans, staffing requirements, catering arrangements, entertainment, and other event details.
- Coordinate with internal staff, catering partners, vendors, and other service providers to ensure events run smoothly.
- Manage event setup, execution, and teardown while maintaining venue standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients before and during their events.
- Identify opportunities to upsell event packages, food and beverage options, entertainment, and other venue services.
- Monitor events in real time and quickly resolve guest, operational, or logistical issues.
- Maintain accurate event calendars, customer information, deposits, contracts, and event details using CRM or event management systems.
- Follow up with clients after events to gather feedback, encourage repeat bookings, and build long-term relationships.
- Assist management with promotions, special events, and other activities that increase venue traffic and event revenue.
- Support general front-of-house operations and guest experience when no scheduled events are taking place.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in event coordination, hospitality, restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, customer service, or sales preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional, and outgoing personality.
- Comfortable speaking with customers, conducting venue tours, and selling event packages.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings and priorities.
- Detail-oriented and able to follow events from initial inquiry through final execution.
- Ability to remain calm and solve problems quickly in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Experience with CRM, event management, POS, or booking systems is a plus.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Experience with catering, banquets, private events, or event sales is a plus.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on venue and event schedules.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who is energetic, personable, sales-minded, and highly organized. You should genuinely enjoy interacting with guests and feel equally comfortable welcoming a walk-in customer, giving a venue tour, following up on an event lead, and managing a busy private event.
This is not solely a behind-the-scenes event planning position. The Event Manager will be an active presence at Tee Time Bar, helping create a welcoming atmosphere for everyday guests while growing our private event business.
Join Tee Time Bar and help us turn everyday visits and special occasions into experiences guests want to come back for.
