EVENT LEAD

The Role

As an Event Lead at the Australian Open, you’ll play a key role in bringing one of THISBOWL’s biggest events of the year to life. Think everything that goes into running a restaurant, just on a much bigger scale. Bigger teams, higher volume, faster pace, and plenty of moving parts.

Working alongside our Event Managers, you’ll take ownership of a key area of the event, support our team to deliver an incredible experience, and help keep operations running smoothly from the first service to the last.

We’re recruiting three Event Leads, each taking ownership of a different area of the event: Admin and Rostering, Food Safety, and People Experience. Whether your strengths lie in keeping operations organised, maintaining high standards or creating an incredible team experience, there’s an opportunity to make your mark.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting To Our Event Managers, You’ll Take Ownership Of a Key Area Of THISBOWL’s Australian Open Operations. You’ll Work Closely With The Wider Event Leadership Team To Keep Things Running Smoothly, Support Our Crew And Deliver An Exceptional Experience For Both Our Customers And Team. With Bigger Teams, Higher Volumes And a Faster Pace, You’ll Be Expected To

• Role model and reinforce THISBOWL’s people and culture standards
• Take ownership of your designated area, ensuring smooth and efficient operations throughout the event
• Lead, support and motivate team members in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Work collaboratively with Event Managers and fellow Event Leads to deliver a successful event
• Maintain high standards across food quality, food safety, customer service and team experience
• Identify challenges, take initiative and find solutions to keep operations running smoothly
• Create a positive, supportive team environment where everyone feels valued and set up for success
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining THISBOWL’s operational standards
