Event Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Event Manager to develop and manage our event business. The ideal candidate has proven experience in event management, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build relationships with clients, companies, agencies, and event partners. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to lead and coordinate a diverse range of events for our organisation. As Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating events that align with our strategic objectives and enhance our brand presence. This role is central to our marketing and communications efforts, requiring someone who can manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail and delivering outstanding results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow the event business within the property/hotel complex.
• Plan and organize various types of events, including corporate, private, business, and entertainment events.
• Manage the occupancy and utilization of the Event Hall, with a capacity of up to 500 guests.
• Identify and attract new clients, event organizers, agencies, and business partners.
• Develop the B2B segment through cooperation with companies, event agencies, and corporate clients.
• Lead and manage the Event Department and coordinate the team's work.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with venues, contractors, suppliers, and other event partners.
• Oversee the preparation and execution of events, ensuring high service quality and compliance with company standards.
• Prepare and manage event budgets and monitor key financial performance indicators.
• Analyze event results and develop initiatives to increase venue occupancy, revenue, and profitability.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in event management or a similar position, preferably within a hotel, resort, hospitality, or property environment.
• Proven experience in organizing and managing different types of events.
• Experience working with B2B clients, companies, and event agencies is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of an additional foreign language is a strong advantage.
• Results-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
