Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, vendor coordination, and logistics management to ensure flawless execution.
• Negotiate contracts with venues, caterers, entertainment providers, and other vendors to secure the best value and quality for each event.
• Manage event budgets diligently, tracking expenses and maximizing resources through strategic upselling and cost-saving measures.
• Oversee all aspects of event marketing, including promotional campaigns, social media outreach, and client communication to boost attendance and engagement.
• Coordinate with catering teams to plan menus, oversee banquet arrangements, and ensure guest services meet high standards of hospitality.
• Utilize event management software and CRM systems to streamline planning processes, maintain client records, and facilitate effective communication.
• Lead a team of staff or vendors during events, providing clear direction and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the event lifecycle.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback for continuous improvement and maintain strong client relationships for future opportunities.

Skills

• Proven expertise in event planning, project management, and managing multiple concurrent events with precision.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts while maintaining quality standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with experience using event management software and CRM systems.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction, team leadership, and vendor negotiations.
• Sound understanding of budgeting principles, including managing event budgets and identifying upselling opportunities.
• Hospitality industry experience is highly desirable; familiarity with banquet operations and catering enhances your ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Exceptional organizational skills combined with time management abilities to meet tight deadlines efficiently.
• Customer service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence.
• Technical proficiency in using various tools for event marketing, guest registration, and onsite operations management.
