Event Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end planning and execution of weddings, including pre-wedding functions and related events.
• Understand client requirements, preferences, themes, budgets, and expectations.
• Develop detailed event plans, timelines, checklists, and execution schedules.
• Coordinate with vendors including decorators, caterers, photographers, makeup artists, entertainers, venues, hospitality teams, transportation, and other service providers.
• Conduct venue visits and oversee venue setup, décor, seating, lighting, stage, guest arrangements, and event flow.
• Manage vendors and ensure timely delivery as per agreed specifications and timelines.
• Coordinate with the client/family and provide regular updates on event progress.
• Handle on-site event execution and resolve last-minute issues efficiently.
• Coordinate multiple teams during the event to ensure smooth execution of ceremonies and functions.
• Monitor event budgets, vendor costs, payments, and avoid unnecessary expenses.
• Ensure all event elements are delivered as planned while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.
• Manage guest experience, hospitality, logistics, and special requirements for VIPs and family members.
• Conduct post-event closure, vendor coordination, and feedback collection.

Requirements

• 3–8 years of experience in wedding planning, wedding events, luxury events, hospitality events, or event management.
• Strong experience in end-to-end wedding execution is preferred.
• Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and client-handling abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and teams simultaneously.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
• Strong attention to detail with a hands-on approach to execution.
• Knowledge of local wedding vendors, venues, and event ecosystem will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹12,692.21 - ₹53,689.17 per month
