Job Description

Scar Banquet is looking for an experienced and energetic Event Manager to plan, coordinate, and successfully execute weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, social functions, and other events at our banquet venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events from booking to completion.
• Communicate with clients and understand their event requirements.
• Coordinate with decorators, caterers, photographers, DJs, and other vendors.
• Manage event setup, seating arrangements, decoration, food service, and overall venue readiness.
• Supervise staff and ensure smooth event operations.
• Handle last-minute changes and resolve on-site issues professionally.
• Ensure excellent customer service and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the sales and operations team for upcoming events.
• Maintain event schedules, checklists, and vendor coordination.
• Ensure events are completed on time and according to client requirements.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in event management, banquet, hospitality, or a related field.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused and professional attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Knowledge of wedding and banquet event operations will be an advantage.

Salary

₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month
Salary will depend on experience and skills.
