Event Manager

I’m currently recruiting for a Conference & Events Manager to join a busy hotel, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to lead a team and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, coordination and smooth running of conferences, meetings, weddings, banquets and events.
• Lead, motivate and develop the team to maintain high standards of service.
• Manage staff rosters, wage forecasting and staffing levels in line with business demands.
• Maximise revenue opportunities through effective event planning and service delivery.
• Ensure meeting rooms, food and beverage services are delivered to a consistently high standard.
• Manage daily operations, ensuring compliance with procedures and company standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2–3 years’ experience in a management role, ideally within hospitality.
• Experience managing and delivering events from start to finish.
• Proven ability to lead, train and motivate a team.
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good computer skills, including email, reporting and wage forecasting.
• A target-driven approach with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and midweek shifts.
