Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive event concepts aligned with brand goals, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish
• Manage all facets of event planning, including venue selection, catering, décor, audiovisual needs, and guest services
• Oversee event budgets meticulously, negotiating with vendors and suppliers to secure optimal pricing and value
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute marketing campaigns that promote upcoming events through various channels such as social media, email marketing, and CRM systems
• Utilize event management software to streamline planning processes, track progress, and generate post-event reports
• Lead negotiations with vendors, sponsors, and partners to enhance event offerings and maximize revenue opportunities through upselling strategies
• Ensure exceptional customer service by managing guest relations, addressing inquiries promptly, and providing a welcoming experience at every event
• Maintain detailed records of all event activities, budgets, vendor contacts, and client communications for future reference and continuous improvement

Experience

• Proven experience in event management within the hospitality or events industry, demonstrating successful execution of diverse events such as conferences, banquets, or corporate gatherings
• Strong background in marketing with proficiency in developing promotional campaigns across multiple platforms
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively while negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team coordination, and vendor negotiations
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel PowerPoint), CRM systems, and popular event management software tools
• Experience in upselling additional services or upgrades during events to enhance revenue streams
• Familiarity with catering operations, banquet services, guest hospitality standards, and managing large-scale events efficiently
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
