Event Mixologist & Bartender

2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Bitter Sweet Bars & Events. From birthdays and weddings to corporate events, festivals and cocktail masterclasses, we have a busy calendar ahead — and we’re looking to grow our team.

We’re on the lookout for fun, outgoing and reliable individuals who love working in events and hospitality. Personality is just as important as experience — we want people who bring great energy, professionalism and a positive attitude to every event.

Available roles include:

• Waiting Staff
• Bar Back
• Bartender
• Cocktail Mixologist
• Team Leader

Roles will be offered based on experience, and previous bar or waiting experience is required. Full training will be provided on the job, with progression opportunities available for those looking to develop their skills and take on more responsibility.

What you’ll need:

• Your own transport is essential — many of our events are not accessible by public transport
• Willingness to travel across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London
• Strong customer service skills and a professional, can-do attitude

Some transport costs will be covered.

Working hours:

This is an ad-hoc, flexible role. We’re unable to guarantee set weekly hours, as shifts depend on event bookings. Events take place throughout the week, with the majority falling at weekends. This role is ideal for anyone looking to earn extra income alongside other work or commitments. You don’t need to commit to every weekend — we’re happy to work around your availability.

Uniform:

Our uniform is relaxed and event-appropriate. Team members are required to wear all black clothing with black shoes. Branded t-shirts and aprons will be provided.
