Event Operation Manager (CN-EN-KR) - Project Based

We are hiring an Event Operation Manager (Project Based) ! ✨

BLB ENT. is a marketing company working closely with a variety of Korean beauty and lifestyle brands. We are currently looking for an experienced Project-Based Freelance Event Operation Manager to support the planning and execution of an upcoming beauty event in Malaysia.

Role: Freelancer / Project-Based

Category: Korean Beauty

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Budget: ~5,000 RM as a total project fee (open for propose)

Project Period

• Pre-event preparation: Start date upon agreement (have to be reachable in a acceptable period and make sure no delays on their tasks )
• On-site period: Week 3-4 of Nov 2026 (15-22 Nov) @Shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur
• Includes event setup 1 day, 7-day on-site event operation, and dismantling

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Event

• Manage related pre-event arrangements, documentation and preparations
• Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, the client, venue, vendors, and other relevant parties
• Follow up on timelines, setup requirements, event requirements, and operational details
• Ensure all necessary arrangements are in place before the event and coordinate post-event dismantling

On-Site Event Management

• Event setup management and coordination
• Full on-site event operation and management
• Dismantling management and coordination

Post-Event

• Prepare an event report and relevant post-event documentation
• Follow up on any necessary post-event matters

Requirements:

• Proficiency in English, Chinese, and Business-Level Korean
• Relevant experience in event planning, operations, and on-site execution in malls / shopping centres
• Experience with beauty events is required
• Experience managing events or brand activations in shopping malls is highly preferred
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple parties and handle on-site situations effectively
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently
• A portfolio of relevant event projects is highly preferred.
• Able to travel within the Klang Valley for meetings, site recces, and other event-related arrangements as needed
• Must be available on-site throughout the full event period
