Event Operations Laborer

Job Type: We are looking for individuals to help with set up and break down of upcoming events. Must be available on Weekends for inflatable deliveries or Sundays for the Tumon night market and upcoming festivals in May

Position Overview: We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Laborer. As part of our team, you will assist with the setup, operation, and takedown of inflatable bounce houses, waterslides, Mechanical Bull, Wipeout, Party tents, and other event equipment at various outdoor events, including birthday parties, festivals, and corporate gatherings. This position requires working in hot, humid weather conditions and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup & Takedown of Equipment: Assist in setting up and taking down inflatable bounce houses, waterslides, and other party equipment at outdoor events, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Inflation and Deflation: Operate inflatable blowers and ensure that all inflatables are fully inflated and safely deflated at the end of the event.
• Customer Interaction: Provide friendly and professional customer service to clients and event attendees, answering any questions or concerns.
• Safety Checks: Monitor the inflatable bounce houses during events to ensure safety standards are maintained. Ensure that children are using the equipment appropriately.
• Maintenance & Cleaning: Help clean and maintain the inflatable equipment, ensuring it is in good condition for the next event.
• Event Support: Assist with additional tasks at events as needed, including managing lines, ensuring smooth operations, and responding to client needs.
• Weather Adaptability: Be prepared to work in the heat and humidity, stay hydrated, and ensure safety measures are in place for the crew and guests.
• Transportation Assistance: Help load and unload equipment from the vehicle to event locations and transport it if needed.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, sometimes heavier loads when handling equipment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in hot, sunny, or rainy weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Previous experience in event setup, inflatable rentals, or customer service is a plus, but not required.
• A valid driver’s license is a plus, but not required.
• Knowing how to tow a utility trailer is a plus.
• Base access is a plus, but not required.
• Must be comfortable working as part of a team and independently when needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in hot, humid weather conditions (Will involve working in direct sunlight) & Rainy conditions
• Ability to work on uneven terrain and at various event locations.

Additional Information:

• This is a seasonal or year-round position, depending on availability and the volume of events.
• Shifts will vary, including weekends and holidays, based on event scheduling.
• Training will be provided on safety protocols and proper handling of inflatable equipment.
