What they need

About Us

The Espresso Experience is a luxury mobile coffee cart service specializing in weddings, corporate events, and private parties. We’re known for high-end presentation, smooth service, and creating memorable guest experiences. We’re growing and looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Logistics & Operations Lead to help run the behind-the-scenes execution of our events.

Role Overview

This role is responsible for making sure every event runs smoothly before and after service. You will handle transportation, setup, breakdown, inventory, and equipment care. This is a part-time, flexible role—perfect for someone who likes hands-on work, event environments, and taking ownership.

Responsibilities

Event Logistics

  • Pick up equipment from storage unit
  • Load/unload coffee cart + supplies into vehicle
  • Transport to and from event locations
  • Arrive 60–90 minutes early for setup
  • Fully set up coffee cart before service begins
  • Break down and pack equipment after events

Operations & Inventory

  • Track inventory (milk, cups, syrups, etc.)
  • Restock supplies as needed (within budget)
  • Maintain organized storage and event kits
  • Prepare supplies ahead of scheduled events

Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Clean espresso machine and equipment after events
  • Follow daily + weekly cleaning checklists
  • Refill water systems and prep for next event
  • Report any equipment issues or damage

Requirements

  • Must have a reliable SUV, crossover, or truck
  • Valid driver’s license + clean driving record
  • Able to lift 40–60 lbs comfortably
  • Highly reliable and punctual (this is critical)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Problem-solver mindset
  • Available for weekends (events vary and can be booked any day of the week)

Compensation

  • $75–$150 per event (based on size/distance)
  • Monthly operations stipend ($200–$400)
  • Gas/mileage reimbursement

Schedule

  • Flexible, based on event bookings
  • Occasional weekday prep or inventory tasks (2–5 hours/week)

Why This Role is Unique

  • You’ll play a key role in growing a premium event business
  • Opportunity to grow into a larger operations role
  • Independent, hands-on work with clear systems and expectations
  • Not a typical food service job—more responsibility and ownership
