Event Planner

Responsibilities

• Develop event concepts and themes aligned with objectives and budget constraints.
• Plan and coordinate all event details, including venue selection, vendor management, logistics, and on-site coordination.
• Create and manage timelines, task checklists, and budgets to ensure smooth, high-quality execution.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and venues to secure the best rates and services.
• Coordinate with marketing and PR teams to promote events and manage guest lists.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement in future events.
• Stay up-to-date with event planning industry trends, technology, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in event planning or event management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and execute large-scale events from conception to completion.
• Excellent negotiation, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple events simultaneously.
• Highly creative with strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
