As the Event Planner, you are responsible for meeting the needs of conference business and social events, including weddings, from contract completion through onsite management to post-event follow-up.

Main responsibilities:

Event Planning & Coordination

• Build strong relationships with clients, guiding them through every stage of the event planning journey.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, event orders and supporting documentation to ensure every detail is clearly communicated and executed.
• Coordinate events from initial enquiry through to completion, ensuring a seamless and well-organised experience.
• Maintain timely and professional communication with clients, internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Manage post-event follow-up, feedback, invoicing and associated administration.

Client Experience & Brand Representation

• Deliver highly personalised service, creating memorable events that exceed client expectations.
• Conduct site inspections and familiarisation visits for prospective and existing clients, showcasing Elysium Manly and its event spaces.
• Represent Elysium Manly with professionalism, warmth and attention to detail at every client interaction.
• Foster an inclusive environment, treating all guests, clients and colleagues with respect, sensitivity and transparency.

Your experience and skills include:

• Minimum 1 year’s experience in hotels, hospitality or the events industry.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities.
• Exceptional customer service and a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional phone and email etiquette.
• Strong computer and administration skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to think on your feet, adapt and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, energetic and professional with a strong work ethic.
• Valid Australian Working Rights / Visa is essential.
