Event Registration Coordinator

POP Cats, a two-day festival celebrating adoptable felines, art, and pop culture, is coming to the Twin Cities on September 26–27, 2026.

This role involves time-management skills and knowledge of iPhones for a fun two-day event. The ideal candidate knows how to communicate effectively with crowds to keep the registration line moving smoothly.

You'll coordinate breaks for volunteers and troubleshoot any technical issues with the devices used to register attendees. You'll be part of a team that's putting on a pawsome event dedicated to raising cat welfare awareness while providing entertainment.

YOU:

• Are comfortable with crowds
• Stay calm and act quick when under pressure
• Have excellent time management and strong organizational skills
• Have strong customer service skills
• Are comfortable managing a team of 6 to 8 volunteers/staff.

• Represent the POP Cats brand with joy and integrity.
• Be a team player.
• Laugh with everyone, but laugh at no one.
• Follow safety rules and practices.
• No use of alcohol, marijuana, and/or controlled substances before or while on duty; strictly prohibited.

Shift Schedule:

Friday, September 25 – 10am to 5pm (Event Setup)
Saturday, September 26 – 8:45am to 5pm (Event)
Sunday, September 27 – 9am to 5pm (Event & Tear down)
Candidate needs to be available all days listed above.

Compensation: Payment will be processed on Wednesday, September 30, three days after the event concludes. Additionally, we'll provide you with a sandwich lunch, bottled waters, and snacks on all working days.

Interview Process: Once selecting resumes, we'll arrange interviews. These interviews will be conducted virtually via either Zoom or FaceTime.
