Event Runner - Full Time

Job Overview

We are seeking someone who is passionate about TCG and collectibles to join our event team as an Event Runner. Every weekend we are going to collectible shows to showcase our cards and make sales, while also spreading the word about our reatil space in New London CT. The perfect candidate for this position is some one who enjoys traveling

Duties

• Scheduling and planning weekend TCG and collectible events(2 per weekend day)
• Packing/unpacking and planning for events
• Coordinate staff for events
• Manage event timelines and schedules, adjusting plans as needed to accommodate unforeseen challenges
• Facilitate clear communication between staff to ensure expectations are met or exceeded
• Complete trading, buying and selling of our goods during the shows with guests and other vendors.
• Card Processing before and after the shows.
• Social Media Management
• Posting videos and pictures from shows. Posting schedule of events for the month. engagement with followers

Requirements

• Must have a drivers license - please do not apply if you do not have a valid drivers license
• Must be available Friday-Monday for the events, packing and breakdown
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell services or products when appropriate
• Familiar with social media, and engagement
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in busy envoirnments
• Exceptional organizational skills coupled with time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Team leadership experience is a plus; ability to motivate colleagues and coordinate efforts seamlessly
• Technical proficiency in audio-visual equipment or other event technology is advantageous
• Car is not required but preferred

This position has 2 pay levels. Hourly and by day.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 45.0 per week
