Event Sales Assistant

Next Developments is hiring motivated, outgoing individuals for an Event Sales Assistant position in Bismarck, ND. This full-time, in-person opportunity is ideal for candidates interested in gaining experience in event sales, customer service, retail promotions, and customer engagement.

No previous experience is required. We provide hands-on training, ongoing coaching, and team support to help new associates develop communication skills, learn client products and services, and succeed in a customer-facing environment.

As an Event Sales Assistant, you will work directly with customers at local retail events and promotional locations throughout the Bismarck area. You'll introduce available products and services, answer questions, assist with customer enrollment, and support promotional campaigns for our clients.

Event Sales Assistant Responsibilities

• Engage with customers directly at local retail events and promotional locations
• Represent client brands and provide a positive customer experience
• Explain available products, services, and current promotions
• Learn about customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Answer customer questions and assist with service selections and enrollment
• Support event marketing, promotional campaigns, and brand awareness activities
• Help organize promotional displays and customer engagement areas
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity
• Collaborate with team members to support event goals and customer satisfaction

Key Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Available to work full-time and on-site in Bismarck, ND
• Reliable transportation to local event locations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable speaking with customers
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Dependable and team-oriented
• Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, events, or sales experience is helpful but not required
