Event Sales Executive

GEMS – Glint Events Management Services is looking for a Event Sales Executive with practical experience in event planning, décor requirements, client handling, and sales coordination.

The role will include both handling incoming event inquiries and actively generating new business opportunities through email campaigns, client visits, meetings, follow-ups, networking, and direct outreach, understanding client needs, following up consistently, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, attending meetings or site visits when required, and converting opportunities into confirmed bookings.

This position is suitable for someone who already understands the events and décor industry and can work confidently with private, community, seasonal, premium, and selected corporate event requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle event inquiries through WhatsApp, calls, email, and social channels
• Actively generate new leads through email campaigns, direct outreach, client visits, meetings, and networking
• Approach residential communities, companies, venues, schools, hospitality partners, and other potential clients
• Understand client requirements, budgets, timelines, and event expectations
• Follow up with leads consistently and maintain proper sales records
• Coordinate quotations, proposals, décor options, and event requirements
• Attend client meetings, site visits, and venue inspections when required
• Coordinate with vendors, production, décor, entertainment, and operations teams
• Support conversion of seasonal, private, community, premium, and business event inquiries
• Maintain accurate inquiry, follow-up, booking, and client-status updates
• Build good client relationships and identify repeat business opportunities
• Contribute practical ideas based on client demand and event market trends

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in events, décor planning, event sales, or customer-facing event roles
• Practical understanding of event and décor requirements
• Good client dealing and follow-up skills
• Strong communication and negotiation ability
• Comfortable handling inquiries independently
• Organized and able to manage multiple leads at the same time
• Willing to attend meetings, site visits, and events when required
• UAE events industry experience preferred
• Good written and spoken English
• Additional languages are an advantage
