Event Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Interact face-to-face with prospective clients at roadshows, trade shows, exhibitions, or promotional booths.
• Sales & Pitching: Present product features or event packages, answer inquiries, and close sales to meet individual and team targets.
• Lead Generation & Follow-Up: Source new prospects, gather customer feedback, and follow up with interested leads via phone, email, or messaging.
• Event Operations: Assist with setup, breakdown, and daily management of promotional displays, marketing collateral, or booth layouts.
• Reporting: Track daily sales activities, record client data, and submit regular feedback or sales reports to management.

Job Requirements

• Education: Minimum SPM, STPM, Diploma, or Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (many entry-level roles welcome fresh graduates).
• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Attributes: High energy, self-motivated, target-driven, and confident working with the public.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel, attend outstation events, or work flexible schedules including weekends and public holidays as required by event dates.
• Extras: A valid driving license and own transport are often preferred.
