Event Security Guard – Formal Attire

247 GARD is looking for professional, reliable, and well-presented Suit & Tie Security Guards to provide security services at events, venues, and other client locations.

The successful candidate must maintain a professional appearance while providing a visible and respectful security presence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas.
• Monitor guests and identify any security or safety concerns.
• Assist with access control and guest management as required.
• Monitor for disturbances, unauthorized access, and other incidents.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally.
• Work closely with the client, venue management, and event staff.
• De-escalate situations and prevent unnecessary conflicts.
• Contact emergency services when required.
• Complete incident reports when necessary.
• Remain alert and attentive throughout the entire shift.

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence – required.
• Valid Smart Serve certification – required.
• Previous security, event, hospitality, or customer-service experience is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional and respectful attitude.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Must be comfortable working evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Must be able to wear a professional suit and tie for assigned shifts.
• Professional appearance and grooming are required.

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
