Event Security Guards – Orillia

About the Position

We are looking for professional, reliable, and experienced Security Guards to join our team for a busy Nashville-themed event in Orillia on Saturday, August 29th.

Security staff will help maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized environment for guests while supporting the event team throughout the evening.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances, exits, and event areas
• Assist with guest flow and crowd management
• Check identification and ensure venue age requirements are followed
• Monitor for safety concerns and disruptive behaviour
• Respond professionally to guest concerns or incidents
• Work closely with event management and venue staff
• Assist with maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees
• Follow all venue and event security procedures
• Report any incidents or concerns to the event supervisor

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence required
• Previous event, venue, hospitality, or security experience is an asset
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills
• Calm and professional under pressure
• Comfortable working in a busy event environment
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to stand and remain active for the duration of the shift
• Strong customer-service skills
• Must be comfortable working around large crowds and potentially high-energy environments
