Event Services Worker

Job Summary

Ashton Hill Farm is seeking a dependable, organized, and service-oriented Event Services Worker to assist with event preparation, venue setup, guest support, event-day operations, and post-event cleanup. This role helps maintain event spaces, organize equipment and supplies, assist guests, and support the event team in delivering smooth and welcoming events.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing event spaces and venue areas before scheduled events.
• Set up tables, chairs, decorations, signage, and event equipment according to instructions.
• Organize event supplies, materials, and service stations.
• Help load, unload, move, and store event equipment safely.
• Assist event coordinators and supervisors with event preparation tasks.
• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional assistance.
• Help guests with directions, seating, and general event questions.
• Support registration, guest lists, and event materials when assigned.
• Assist with food and beverage service when needed.
• Monitor event areas and restock supplies throughout each event.
• Maintain clean, organized, and presentable event spaces.
• Communicate guest requests, equipment concerns, and supply shortages to supervisors.
• Follow event schedules, setup instructions, and venue procedures.
• Handle decorations, equipment, supplies, and customer property carefully.
• Follow workplace safety, sanitation, and equipment-handling guidelines.
• Assist with event breakdown, packing, cleanup, and equipment storage.
• Help restore event spaces to their proper condition after events.
• Work cooperatively with event staff and other team members during busy periods.
• Perform other event service and venue support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous event, hospitality, catering, venue, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions, schedules, and event procedures.
• Comfortable working in a busy and changing event environment.

About Ashton Hill Farm

Ashton Hill Farm provides an event setting where preparation, organization, guest service, and teamwork help create a positive experience. The team works together to maintain event spaces, support event activities, and assist guests throughout scheduled functions.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
