What we do
Pulo Coffee runs specialty mobile coffee experiences for corporate clients, brand activations, and production environments across Los Angeles and Southern California. We're a small, tight team that cares about the details -- how things look, how they run, and how clients feel when we leave.
What this role is
You're the person who makes events happen before anyone else arrives and after everyone else leaves. You'll load, drive, set up, break down, and reset our coffee carts and equipment. It's physical, it's detail-oriented, and it requires someone who takes pride in doing the hard labor-intensive work well.
This is a W-2 hourly position.
What you'll do
- Drive the company van to transport coffee carts and equipment to events across LA and SoCal
- Set up and break down carts using our setup checklist
- Confirm water, power, and layout are correct before service starts
- Support Event Leads and Baristas on-site to keep things clean and running
- Restock supplies and capture photos/video at events
- Return equipment to our Inglewood warehouse, unload, clean, and reset for the next event
- Keep the warehouse organized so gear is always easy to find and deploy
What we're looking for
- Based in or near Los Angeles or Inglewood
- Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record
- Able to lift up to 65 lbs comfortably
- Reliable -- if you say you'll be there, you're there and you're sometimes even early
- Comfortable following detailed checklists to the letter
- Available for early mornings, evenings, and weekends (that's when events happen)
- Calm and adaptable when things don't go exactly as planned
Nice to have
- Background in events, production, catering, or logistics
- Comfortable capturing content on a phone for social or internal use
What you get
- $23-28/hour, W-2 employment
- Tips when applicable (after your training period)
- Performance bonus after qualifying events
- Room to grow into Event Lead or expanded operations as we scale
- A team that communicates clearly and respects your time
Schedule
This is an on-call position. Events are posted in our team Slack channel and claimed on a first-come basis. No guaranteed weekly hours, but consistent availability and reliability lead to consistent work.
This is not a barista role. It's logistics, physically demanding, and operations. If that's your thing, we want to meet you.
