Event Setup Crew Member

Job Summary

As an Event Setup Crew Member, you’ll prepare Auction event spaces so guests can enjoy a smooth, welcoming experience. You’ll arrange tables, chairs, and service stations, support food and beverage setup, and help keep spaces clean and ready throughout events. Your impact: Careful setup and responsive service help guests feel welcomed and allow event teams to deliver an organized experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down event spaces, for both in person and online auctions including tables, chairs, linens, and dining or beverage stations, according to event plans.
• Assist with food preparation, food handling, serving, bussing, and beverage or drink service while following food safety practices.
• Support guest services and guest relations by responding courteously to requests and coordinating with event staff.
• Keep work areas, equipment, and service spaces clean, stocked, and organized before, during, and after events.
• Help track supplies and complete basic counts or calculations as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service, hospitality, or guest-facing experience is helpful; food service, restaurant, hotel, catering, banquet, or food industry experience is a plus.
• Culinary experience, food preparation, serving, bussing, food handling, beverage service, drink service, bartending, or coffee experience is preferred, not required.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, basic math, wine knowledge, fine dining, or food safety is an advantage.
• Able to follow event instructions, work collaboratively, and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
• Able to stand, walk, lift, and move event equipment as required, using safe handling practices.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
