Job Summary

As a Sales and Marketing Executive in the event industry, you will drive sales and promote event services through strategic and digital marketing initiatives. You will acquire new clients, build strong relationships, and maximize revenue opportunities to ensure successful event outcomes.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies emphasizing digital marketing to accelerate business growth in the event industry

Identify and engage prospective clients, including corporate entities, organizations, and individuals, to generate new business opportunities

Conduct market research to analyze trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to refine sales and marketing tactics

Build and sustain strong client relationships by understanding event requirements and delivering tailored solutions

Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals showcasing event services and value propositions

Collaborate with creative teams to produce marketing collateral for online and offline channels

Manage digital marketing channels such as social media, email marketing, content marketing, and online advertising to broaden audience reach and promote events

Monitor and analyze digital marketing campaign performance, website traffic, and social media engagement to inform data-driven marketing decisions

Continuously optimize digital marketing strategies to enhance lead generation, conversion rates, and overall marketing effectiveness

Attend industry networking events, trade shows, and conferences to expand professional networks and generate leads

Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and event marketing strategies, especially in digital marketing, to maintain competitive advantage

Coordinate with event planners, operations, and production teams to ensure seamless event execution

Collaborate with sponsors, vendors, and partners to explore partnership opportunities and enrich event experiences

Required competencies and certifications

Proven experience in sales and marketing roles within the event industry, with a focus on digital marketing

Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales targets through effective sales skills

In-depth knowledge of event industry trends, best practices, and customer preferences

Expertise in digital marketing channels including social media platforms, email marketing, content marketing, and online advertising

Experience managing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns using metrics for data-driven decisions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and maintain client relationships

Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to secure event bookings and partnerships

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop unique event marketing ideas for both online and offline channels

Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and digital marketing tools

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required in the event industry
