Event Staff

Flok Jobs is looking for polished, reliable event staff to join our network and support functions, banquets, and private events across London's top venues. You'll take direction from the event organiser or venue lead on the day, working as part of a team to deliver a smooth, professional guest experience. You'll work directly with venues through our app, picking up shifts that suit your schedule with no third-party markups cutting into your pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, service, and pack down function spaces to the venue's standards ahead of and after the event.
• Deliver attentive, courteous food and beverage service throughout conferences, banquets, and private functions.
• Take direction from the event manager or supervisor and adapt quickly to the runsheet on the day.
• Liaise with kitchen, bar, and front of house teams to keep timings and service flowing smoothly.
• Maintain presentation and stock levels across function spaces, buffet stations, and service areas.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, including VIP or high-profile guests.
• Handle payments, cloakroom duties, or registration desks where required.
• Follow responsible alcohol service, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Support breakdown and clear-up at the end of the event, ensuring the venue is left to standard.

Requirements

• Previous hospitality or events experience preferred, but not essential.
• Professional, presentable manner suited to a variety of event types and venues.
• Ability to follow direction and adapt quickly to unfamiliar venues and event formats.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied shift patterns, including early starts or late finishes.
• Basic food hygiene and alcohol licensing awareness (training can be provided).
• Calm, team-oriented, and comfortable working under pressure during busy events.

Pay: £14.00-£23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 50.0 per week
