Event Staff Job Opportunity Overview

Event Staff Associates play a critical role in delivering high-quality service to clients and guests by assisting with setup, guest interaction, and breakdown of events.

Key Responsibilities

Event Setup & Breakdown

• Assist with loading/unloading equipment and supplies
• Set up tables, chairs, linens, décor, and signage according to event plans
• Break down and pack materials efficiently at the end of events

Guest Experience & Service

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide directions, answer questions, and support guest needs
• Maintain a positive, helpful presence throughout the event

Food & Beverage Support

• Assist with food service, buffet setup, or passed hors d’oeuvres
• Monitor cleanliness and restock service areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

Event Operations

• Follow instructions from event captains or supervisors
• Adapt quickly to changing needs or timelines
• Support overall flow and logistics of the event

Qualifications

• Prior experience in events, hospitality, catering, or customer service preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and take direction
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30–50 lbs
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions

Schedule & Availability

• Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to commit to scheduled shifts and arrive on time

Compensation

• Hourly rate: $25-30 per hour plus tips
