Event Technical Specialist (Audio-Visual-Lighting Focus)

ROSY SKY is a project-driven employee engagement agency delivering large-scale gala dinners, conferences, award presentations, and corporate events for luxury brands and Fortune 500 clients.

We're looking for an experienced Event Technical Specialist (AVL Focus) to lead the technical execution behind every successful event. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced event environments, enjoys problem-solving under pressure, and can confidently manage both technical systems and onsite crews.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning and execution for live events and productions
• Operate and oversee show control systems, cueing, and production workflows
• Coordinate onsite setup, cabling, testing, dismantling, and logistics
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth event delivery
• Manage technical equipment, inventory, and maintenance schedules
• Liaise with event teams, suppliers, freelancers, and technical vendors
• Monitor setup progress, manpower deployment, and production quality
• Ensure all technical work is delivered safely, professionally, and to client expectations
• Support budgeting, procurement, cost control, and resource planning
• Mentor and guide technical crews for successful project execution

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in event production, AV, staging, lighting, or technical event management
• Strong knowledge of live event operations and show execution
• Hands-on experience with event setup, cabling, and technical troubleshooting
• Experience coordinating freelancers, technicians, and external vendors
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight event deadlines
• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and event schedules when required
