What they need
Events Assistant
Brandlete · Philadelphia, PA (On-site) · Full-time
Pay: $840–$1,000 (P/W)
No great event runs on luck. It runs on people who show up early, stay sharp, and know exactly what needs to happen next.
Brandlete is a Philadelphia-based sales and leadership development company. Businesses hire us to build their customer acquisition teams from the ground up, and a lot of that work happens through promotional sales events: in-market activations, retail promotions, campaign pop-ups, and roadshows where a client's brand meets real customers face-to-face.To be clear, this is not hospitality or social events work. There is no catering, no weddings, and no parties. These are sales and marketing events designed to generate real customer conversations and drive results for our clients.
That's where an Events Assistant comes in. You will be on-site at promotional events, helping keep everything running smoothly so the team having customer conversations can stay focused on results. You do not need an events or marketing background. What matters is that you are organized, dependable, coachable, and willing to learn quickly.
What a shift actually looks like
- Helping set up, run, and break down client promotional sales events, including activations, retail promotions, pop-ups, and roadshows
- Preparing and managing the materials, signage, products, and campaign displays needed for each event
- Keeping timing and on-site logistics organized so nothing slows down the team generating customer conversations
- Speaking directly with attendees and potential customers, representing the client's brand clearly and professionally as part of the sales effort
- Learning our structured customer acquisition process from the reps and coaches working alongside you
- Reviewing event performance with a coach afterward, including what worked, what drove results, and what could improve next time
- Building toward a specialization over time, whether that is customer acquisition or coaching and leadership
The kind of person who does well here
- Organized and able to stay calm when several things need attention at once
- Curious and willing to improve. We care more about attitude than a resume line
- Able to take feedback well and apply it. This matters more than previous experience
- Reliable, on time, and able to commute to our Philadelphia office and promotional event locations daily
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, public-facing sales environment
- Happy being active and on your feet rather than sitting behind a desk
- No degree or prior events or sales experience required
Compensation & growth
Typical pay consists of $840–$1,000 a week to start, equivalent to approximately $43,700–$52,000 a year, paid weekly and including uncapped commission. Progression here is based on merit, not seniority. The value you create determines how quickly you move forward, not how long you have been here. Over 30 of our current business leaders were promoted from entry-level roles like this one through the same structured coaching path you would be starting on.
What sets this apart
- You are not left to figure everything out alone. Every Assistant receives structured coaching and daily feedback
- We build repeatable systems the way competitive teams build training programs, so your results come from the process rather than relying on being a "natural"
- There is a clear path forward into either customer acquisition or coaching and leadership, with progression based on performance
- You will be part of a Philadelphia team that invests time in your development, not just your output
Sound like you? Apply if: you want a role where being organized, dependable, and coachable can actually take you somewhere.
