Events Assistant (Fixed Term)

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic team players to join our Events Team during the festive season, helping us deliver memorable Christmas celebrations at Moddershall Oaks.

The Events Assistant role involves supporting a variety of festive events, including Christmas parties, Christmas Day celebrations and other seasonal functions. You will be responsible for setting up the venue, including the manual handling and movement of chairs, tables and other event equipment. You will greet guests, provide a seamless food and drink service, ensure the venue remains clean and tidy throughout each event and assist with clearing away afterwards.

In addition to supporting our festive events, you may also be required to assist across our other Food & Beverage areas, including our Oak House Restaurant.

You will have a friendly, enthusiastic and professional approach, ensuring our guests receive a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their festive celebrations.

This role would suit someone with previous events or hospitality experience, although this is not essential. We are equally interested in individuals with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Please note: Availability to work on Christmas Day is essential for this role. Christmas Day hours will be paid at double your normal hourly rate.

Fixed Term: 20th November 2026 - 31st December 2026
Shifts: Can be between 09:00 and 01:30 – availability required Monday-Sunday
Salary: £10.85-£12.71 per hour

As we are based in a rural area with no access to public transport, a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
