What they need

At Refinery Group, we believe great events don't happen by accident. They're built through exceptional planning, attention to detail and people who genuinely care about creating unforgettable experiences.

We're looking for an Event Coordinator who thrives on bringing events to life. Someone who can think three steps ahead, juggle multiple priorities, build strong client relationships and remain calm under pressure. If you're passionate about hospitality, love creating memorable moments and enjoy seeing your planning come to life on event day, we'd love to hear from you

The Angel of Malvern and The Saint are two unique hospitality destinations within Refinery Group, delivering everything from corporate functions and private celebrations to large-scale social events and premium guest experiences.

As Event Coordinator, you'll work across both venues, taking ownership of events from initial enquiry through to execution. You'll be responsible for ensuring every event is planned, communicated and delivered to the highest standard while providing exceptional service to clients throughout their event journey.

Working closely with venue leadership, operational teams, suppliers and clients, you'll coordinate all aspects of event delivery across both locations. This is a hands-on role that combines event planning, administration and on-the-ground execution, offering plenty of variety and exposure to a diverse range of events and functions.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys managing multiple events simultaneously and takes pride in bringing memorable experiences to life.

Why Join Us?

  • Opportunity to work across two exciting hospitality venues, The Angel of Malvern and The Saint
  • Discounts across all Refinery Group businesses
  • Supportive leadership and collaborative team culture
  • Training and development opportunities
  • Career pathways within our growing hospitality portfolio
  • Annual staff parties and team celebrations
  • Employee referral scheme
  • Free staff meals on shift
  • Opportunity to work across a diverse range of events, functions and hospitality experiences
  • Join a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences and memorable events

About You

You're highly organised, proactive and people focused.

You enjoy building relationships with clients, coordinating moving parts and ensuring every detail is accounted for. You can confidently manage multiple events at once, communicate effectively with stakeholders and adapt quickly when priorities change.

You'll also bring:

  • 2-4 years' experience in event coordination, hospitality or function management
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills
  • Experience managing multiple events and competing deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong planning and logistical coordination abilities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • High attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset
  • Experience using Tripleseat or similar event management, CRM or venue booking platforms
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends and public holidays as required by event schedules
  • Physical capability to assist with event setup, pack-down and occasional furniture movement

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing event enquiries from initial contact through to successful delivery
  • Conducting venue tours and client meetings
  • Preparing event proposals, run sheets, function orders and event documentation
  • Coordinating suppliers, contractors and entertainment providers
  • Managing event timelines and ensuring all milestones are achieved
  • Acting as the primary point of contact on event days
  • Managing multiple events concurrently across The Angel of Malvern and The Saint
  • Working closely with leadership teams at both venues to ensure seamless event delivery
  • Working closely with kitchen, bar and front-of-house teams to ensure successful event execution
  • Coordinating event setup, room configurations and pack-down requirements
  • Maintaining event booking systems, calendars and client databases
  • Collecting client feedback and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders
  • Supporting the continued growth and success of the events offering across both venues
