Events Coordinator

Musket Ridge Golf Club is located in Myersville, MD, a little outside of Frederick, and is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Events Coordinator. The right fit is an enthusiastic, self-motivated, organized and personable individual who delights in providing the wow-factor for clients in a freshly renovated event space.

The days will offer considerable variety, and the schedule incorporates a good deal of flexibility, though weekend availability is a must.

The bulk of responsibilities are delivering memorable moments for clients and guests while detailing weddings and events post-contract under the direction of our Wedding & Events Sales Director. Additionally, there will be some social coordination and event/party planning for events which are open to the public such as live music nights.

Expectations and duties are:

• Communicate and coordinate with Wedding & Events Sales Director, Day-Of Coordinator, and F&B Staff to ensure a smooth handover of all event details.
• Attend all events, including weddings, as the venue liaison until at minimum all entrees are served to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and communicate with the kitchen and front of house during events.
• Coordinate customer tastings and walk-throughs.
• Represent the venue as needed at bridal shows and other networking functions.
• Collecting event/wedding invoices, ensuring full payment on or before day of event in accordance with contracts and policies.
• Must have outstanding organization skills and leadership.
• Must be able to clearly, professionally, and promptly communicate with clients and co-workers.
• Must be able to remedy problems as they arise and to immediately report issues involving health, safety or significant customer or business concerns to management.
