What they need

Events Coordinator (Full-time)

You are probably the person who notices the small details behind a well-run occasion—the smooth check-in table, the clear signage, and the seamlessly timed itinerary. When plans shift mid-event, you remain grounded, practical, and focused on making sure attendees and guests have a fantastic, hassle-free experience.

If you are looking for a hands-on event management role in Liverpool where your practical coordination, clear communication, and calm approach under pressure will directly shape live events, this full-time role is a great fit. We are expanding our regional event delivery team and need a dependable Events Coordinator to manage delegate communications, supplier coordination, and on-site event setup.

Event Operations & On-Site Responsibilities

Working directly with our senior event producers and brand managers in Liverpool, your key duties will include:

  • Handling delegate inquiries, managing attendee registration databases, and issuing event passes.
  • Liaising with Liverpool venues, catering partners, and AV suppliers to confirm timings and setup requirements.
  • Assembling event materials, delegate packs, branding banners, and display stands prior to live dates.
  • Managing guest arrival tables, directing foot traffic, and greeting keynote speakers on event days.
  • Conducting pre-event technical walkthroughs to verify microphone setups, presentation decks, and lighting.
  • Monitoring live event schedules to ensure speaker presentations and catering breaks run strictly to time.
  • Collating attendee feedback surveys post-event and summarizing performance metrics for client reviews.
  • Tracking event expenses, logging vendor invoices, and assisting with final post-event budget reconciliation.

Ideal Attributes & Qualities

We value composure under time pressure, clear communication, and methodical task management over years of corporate event history. We look for:

  • A welcoming, confident manner when interacting with delegates, venue staff, and external vendors.
  • Methodical organization skills with the ability to manage multiple event checklists simultaneously.
  • A calm, practical approach when adapting to last-minute timetable changes on live event days.
  • Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Google Workspace, and online event ticketing tools.
  • Flexibility to attend early morning, evening, or weekend event deliveries across Merseyside as required.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, hotel operations, customer service, administration, university society events, or retail is a plus, but not essential as full training is provided.

We provide step-by-step training on our event systems and run-of-show templates so you feel completely prepared before going live.

Your onboarding begins by working side-by-side with an experienced coordinator through a complete event lifecycle, from initial supplier outreach to on-site delivery. Through regular one-to-one coaching sessions, you will receive ongoing advice on budget tracking, contract checks, and risk assessments. As you gain hands-on experience, you will take lead responsibility for specific event formats and build core skills toward event manager positions.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary
  • Performance-based bonuses linked to event delivery standards and delegate satisfaction ratings
  • 37.5 hours per week work hours
  • Full initial training in event management software, floor logistics, and supplier coordination
  • Regular one-to-one coaching and continuous skill progression
  • Direct, practical event management experience across diverse Liverpool venues
  • Team social gatherings and company incentives
  • Formal recognition for flawless event execution, task accuracy, and team support
  • Clear internal pathways to step into lead event manager and senior project roles

How to Apply

If you want to bring your organizational habits and practical approach to a supportive Liverpool event team, please submit your CV along with your current contact details. We review applications regularly and will reach out to suitable candidates for an initial phone conversation.
