Our 5 AA Red Star award winning Hotel has established itself as one of the leading luxury hotels and restaurants in Wales and the UK set in the stunning Pembrokeshire countryside overlooking the Preseli Hills. The Fernery restaurant holds 4 AA Rosettes and is under the leadership of the hugely talented Executive Chef Douglas Balish, likewise the team also oversee the casual dining option ‘Artisan Rooms’ offering a more relaxed dining option to guests while still showing care and attention as to where ingredients are sourced.

The General Manager, Karen, is now looking for a passionate and dedicated Events Manager to join the team on a full-time basis working a 5 day week.

The successful candidate may on occasion be required to be available for a variety of shifts including on weekends.

The Grove of Narberth is part of Seren, a luxury hospitality company based in Wales that also includes, Lan y Mor, Penmaenuchaf Hotel and Beach House Oxwich.

What we offer:

· Package up to £44,000 including Gratuities and a performance related bonus.

· Gratuities are shared through a Tronc system and currently amounts to 4k per annum per employee.

· 40 hours week, working a 5-day working week.

The candidate will have the following attributes:

• Proven experience in event management or a related field within hospitality or guest services.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage various events.
• Excellent time management skills, capable of prioritising tasks effectively under pressure.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on client relations.
• A background in running weddings and management is essential.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required by events.
• A proactive approach with a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality standards are met.
• A resilient nature with an ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to resolve guest issues effectively.
• Immaculate presentation and a friendly yet professional personality.
• Outstanding written and spoken English.
