Events Services Officer (Mactan Expo)

The Events Services Officer is responsible for coordinating, supporting, and ensuring the smooth execution of events, exhibitions, conventions, and corporate functions at The Mactan Expo. This role serves as the main operational link between clients, internal departments, and external suppliers to deliver high-quality event experiences aligned with the company’s service standards.

Key Responsibilities

● Assist in planning, organizing, and executing events from pre-event preparation to post-event evaluation.

● Coordinate event requirements including venue setup, layouts, equipment, and logistics.

● Prepare event timelines, floor plans, and operational checklists.

● Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding event-related arrangements.

● Attend client meetings and site inspections.

● Supervise venue setup, ingress/egress, and dismantling activities.

● Ensure service providers meet quality and schedule requirements.

● Monitor supplier performance during events.

Qualifications & Requirements

● Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field.

● At least 1–3 years of experience in event operations, hospitality, or venue management.

● Experience in handling corporate events, exhibitions, or large-scale functions is an advantage.
