POSITION SUMMARY

The evidence Leader is responsible for developing and executing integrated evidence generation strategies that combine Clinical Research and Real-World Evidence (RWE) to support business growth, innovation, claims substantiation, regulatory compliance, healthcare professional engagement, and consumer trust.

This role serves as strategic partner to Brand, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Marketing, Consumer Science, and Market teams to ensure evidence generation is aligned with business priorities and delivers measurable impact across the product lifecycle.

The Evidence Leader drives innovation in evidence generation through the use of real-world data, clinical data, digital health technologies, behavioral science, AI-enabled analytics, and consumer insights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Evidence Leadership

• Develop and lead integrated evidence generation strategies across global and local brands.
• Define evidence roadmaps aligned with brand ambition, innovation pipelines, claims strategies, and market needs.
• Identify evidence gaps and prioritize investments to maximize business and consumer impact.
• Ensure evidence activities support differentiation, market leadership, and long-term brand growth.

Clinical Research Leadership

• Ensure studies meet scientific, regulatory, quality, and ethical standards,
• Guide study design, protocol development, statistical planning, and publication strategies,
• Translate scientific findings into actionable business insights and communication assets.

Real-World Evidence Leadership

• Lead the development and implementation of RWE strategies leveraging real-world data sources including: Consumer data digital health platforms Wearables Health apps Patient-reported outcomes Retail and market data electronic health records where applicable.
• Expand the use of RWE to generate consumer insights, validate product performance in real-life settings, and support business decisions,
• Establish innovative approaches to continuous evidence generation and learning.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner with: Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs Consumer & Market Insights Brand Marketing Innovation & R&D Digital and Data Science Teams.
• Act as the scientific lead in cross-functional product development and lifecycle management activities,
• Influence senior stakeholders through evidence-based recommendations.

Innovation & transformation

• Champion new methodologies including: Decentralized studies Digital evidence generation Remote data collection AI-enabled evidence synthesis Behavioral Science approaches
• Drive continuous improvement of evidence generation processes and ways of working.
• Build organizational capabilities in modern evidence generation techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in Clinical Research, Medical Affairs, Epidemiology, Real-World Evidence, or Evidence Generation.
• Experience developing evidence strategies across multiple brands and therapeutic categories,
• Strong understanding of both interventional and observational research methodologies,
• Experience managing external partners, CROs, research networks, and data providers,
• OTC, Consumer Health, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, MedTech, or Digital Health experience preferred.

Education:

• Advance degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MPH, MSc) in Life Sciences, Epidemiology, Public Health, Clinical Research, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related field.
