EVS Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated EVS (Environmental Services) Supervisor to lead our cleaning and custodial teams in maintaining a pristine, safe, and welcoming environment. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations across all designated areas, including hospital, hospitality, or institutional settings.
• Lead, train, and motivate custodial staff to uphold high standards of sanitation and safety regulations.
• Develop work schedules, assign tasks efficiently, and monitor team performance to ensure timely completion of cleaning duties.
• Enforce strict adherence to cleaning & sanitation management protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness levels, safety compliance, and proper sanitation procedures are maintained.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; reorder stock as needed to prevent shortages.
• Foster excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and maintaining positive communication with staff and stakeholders.

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in industrial or commercial cleaning environments with a strong focus on sanitation standards.
• Extensive custodial or janitorial experience, including familiarity with hospital or healthcare facility cleaning protocols is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in team management and staff supervision within a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to industrial cleaning practices and chemical handling.
• Strong managerial communication skills to effectively coordinate teams and liaise with management.
• Experience in managing sanitation operations for hospitality or housekeeping environments is advantageous.
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety compliance.
