Excavator and Dozer Operators

Our client is a leading earthmoving business based nationally across Australia, and due to an upturn in work, they are needing to expand their workforce ASAP.

• $44.00 per hour + penalties
• Immediate start ongoing work
• Plenty of OT on offer

Candidates must be reliable, hardworking, and punctual, possess a strong focus on safety, and hold valid plant operator tickets. This is a casual position with full-time hours.

Requirements

• Valid RII tickets for Excavator and Dozer operations
• Minimum 2+ years of proven experience operating excavators and dozers in civil or bulk earthworks
• Current Construction White Card
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Must be physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test
• Good communicator and a reliable team player
• Strong commitment to safety and high-quality standards

Key Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of Excavators and Dozers for bulk earthworks, trenching, and site preparation
• Conduct thorough daily pre-start checks and routine operator maintenance on machinery
• Follow strict safety requirements, SWMS, and site protocols
• Read and interpret site plans, working closely with surveyors and ground crews
• Assist with general civil labouring duties as required by the site manager
• Coordinate with the production and civil teams to maintain workflow and meet project deadlines
