Excavator and Dozer Operators

Prairie North Construction is recruiting Heavy Equipment Operators for a Civil Construction Project in Edmonton, Ab

This position is based in Edmonton, Ab. This is a project-based position, with a 6 Day on -1 day off rotation schedule..

Positions Needed: Dozer, Hoe (GPS) Operators

This position will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to:

Duties Include:

• Operate Heavy Equipment as it applies to ditching, sloping, grading, reclamation, stripping, clean-up etc. along with the ability to read grade stakes.
• Experience with Steep Inclines and congested areas
• Follow directions from Foreman/Supervisor
• Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Carry out minor maintenance and inspection for equipment and reporting any deficiencies.
• Knowledge of earthworks, road building, road construction, reclamation etc.
• Ability to work as a team and take direction.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Possess 2+ year’s experience
• Slope Experience
• Capable of physical Labour
• Must pass a competency assessment on specified equipment
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
• Able to pass a Background Check
